We believe that linear form of education often acts as deterrent to the over all development of children, so we realize the urgent need to address other issues involved in shaping the minds of students besides conventional education.
With the concept of nurturing both the hemispheres of the brain, we have provision of training our students in Performing and Fine Arts. It is a regular feature for our school children to accolade at the city, state and national levels in various activities, drawing large appreciation and laurels. Our Scouts & Guides draw every year a number of Rastrapati Puraskar and Rajyapal Puraskar. A good number participate in various national camps and expeditions.
We do not consider low achievement as poor performance or disability, but a different ability to be identified, taken care of and nurtured differently. The school counseling cell at a regular basis monitor these. The stress and strain of the students of this era of globalization is sorted out with the help of teachers, professionals and experienced career counselors. For enhancing concentration and reducing stress the school has separate rooms for meditation and prayer.
Music is synonymous with Zenith. It is compulsory for students of class V to IX to learn one musical instrument by the time helshe graduates. The school has well-equipped music department with qualified Music teachers to train the students in both Indian and Western Music. Little wonder, then that Zenith's School Band is the toast of Gujarat. Awarded the 'The Best Band' in Gujarat state, the Band is regularly invited to play at important city and state events by the authorities. Eco Club, Nature Club, Science Club, Literary Club, NCC and Scout & Guides activities keep the students involved and aid in their character development interest.
Inter-School competition such as Cooking, Mehandi Applying, Rangoli, Embroidery, Debates, Elocution are regular features with Annual Day, Annual Sports, Pre-school Graduation ceremony. Also celebrated are all major festivals.
Our commitment to ensure over all development of children includes academic as well as physical fitness with Games and Sports as an integral part of the school activity. This includes various out door and indoor games and karate on regular basis for physical fitness, discipline and self-defense, training children in self-defence and keeping them physically fit.
